01.12.24 Whale Counts

What a day on the water! it was absolutely beautiful out on the open ocean and we were fortunate enough to get to see without a doubt the smallest baby whale we had ever seen! This tiny newborn baby Gray Whale was swimming right next to mom and even came over to check us out! was amazing to see such a small young whale just starting out its life, and was likely born within the past few days.
After that experience we made our way to the north and got to see hundreds of common dolphin putting on quite the show. jumping, swimming with the boat, and even doing a bit of hunting for some anchovies. what a day on the water.
