01.17.24 Whale Counts

The Gray whale migration is in full effect! On Todays trip we got word of a group of whales to the south so we made it down as quickly as possible. Was a bit of a run, as we met up with these whales just a mile away from the Mexican border but boy was it worth it. We had a group of three Gray whales, with a fourth that eventually joined. We got to see so many tail flukes and they even swam under the boat at one point. These were all very large adult whales and they did not disappoint.
