03.18.24 Whale Counts

Yet another gorgeous day on the water! made our way out to very few reports of life from other boats but undeterred we pushed on. At about the extent of our range, we stopped to look at an interesting spot of water that looked quite like what we would refer to as a “Fluke print”. It was a good idea that we did so as we got to encounter a juvenile Fin whale! After our encounter, we heard reports of some Dolphin close to shore so we picked up the pace and got to see a large pod of feeding Common Dolphin!
