04.14.24 Whale Counts

We had a beautiful day out on the water, and per the last week we had to make a run for it but it paid off. On our first trip, we bookended the trip with pods of Common Dolphin, with a finishing feeding frenzy. The whales were a little shy on the morning trip but they came out to play for the afternoon where we saw 3 Fin whales, including two of which came right up and swam under the boat. Amazing to see these gentle giants.
