07.26.24 Whale Counts

Another Sunny day out on the water, and we got to experience the true unpredictability of the wild animals we encounter here. For our first trip we were graced with both Short Beaked and Long Beaked Common Dolphin, and the cherry on top a Juvenile Humpback Whale! For our second, unfortunately all of the life in the area had vacated and we were unsuccessful in finding any mammals. This is a reality on these trips while it does not happen often, these are indeed wild animals and they move around our big ocean quite a bit. undeterred we are looking forward to a great weekend of looking for these amazing creatures!
