10.31.24 Whale Counts

Our Halloween trip was full of tricks and some incredible treats! From the start we had perfect weather and ocean conditions and were seeing an abundance of life. Plenty of birds, bait fish and hungry dolphin ultimately led to one of the best humpback whale encounters weve ever had. This Sub-adult humpback “mugged” us meaning it got curious and decided to come check out the boat and our passengers. It swam under the boat multiple times and with the glassy conditions you could see the entire animal in full detail as close as it could possibly get!
