03.08.25 Whale Counts

After a few days off for weather we got out for two action packed trips! For our first trip we caught up with around 200 Short-beaked Common Dolphin, followed by another truly spectacular look at a Fin Whale that could not get enough of us. This whale circled the boat and came so close we could almost touch it! For the second trip we happened upon a Northbound Gray Whale before making our way out to see that our one fin whale turned into three! we got some great looks at these giants before catching up with 250 Long-beaked Common Dolphin rounding out a perfect day of whale watching.
