01.09.24 Whale Counts

A Gorgeous day out on the water! The sun was out and shining and had some great sea conditions. Made our way up to the North hugging the coast in search of our Gray whale friends, but none to be found today. despite the beautiful conditions, there did not seem to be much life going on. Until, like whale watching can do to you something popped up out of nowhere! We were fortunate enough to see a juvenile Fin whale feeding around a raft of sea lions and alot of bird activity. It almost appeared out of nowhere, but we were glad for the opportunity to view it.
