01.16.25 Whale Counts

A truly remarkable day of Whale watching with a surprise Gray whale right as we left Mission Bay! Then we spotted a second whale just west of that, and rode down with the two migrators before making our way southwest for roughly 400 Common Dolphin. In whale watching we never know what we may see and we got glimpses at 4 more Gray whales just as we were coming back into Mission Bay. A day of almost non stop life, and were excited for the trips to come.
