01.19.25 Whale Counts

Another beautiful day on the water, and even more amazing wildlife to see! For the first trip we encountered a southbound Gray Whale off the coast of point loma, followed by around 500 Long-beaked Common Dolphin, and a surprise visit from an adult Fin whale! For the second we saw around 300 Short-beaked Common Dolphin with a portion that was a nursery pod and was full of the tiniest dolphin calves weve ever seen.
