01.29.25 Whale Counts

A truly spectacular day on the water with one of the most incredible experiences weve ever had! Today was a one stop shop with a feeding frenzy complete with millions of Anchovies that attracted hundreds of birds, dolphins and sea lions but the highlight was a juvenile Humpback whale that was getting in on the action. We sat with this humpback for a long time as it lunge fed and gobbled up massive amounts of fish and got some looks literal feet off the boat as we observed.
