02.13.24 Whale Counts
What a trip! It was nonstop life today, as we got so see 3 different species of cetaceans, with all three interacting with each other! We started off the trip with some Pacific white sided dolphin, until we located a pair of Gray whales that were moving south but playing with the dolphin. only to drive a few miles north and find a second pair of Gray Whales that were swimming and playing with a pod of Bottlenose Dolphin! Both these sightings can be considered rather uncommon as these animals do not always interact with each other, and considered extremely rare to see both species of dolphin playing with our Gray Whales on their migration. another great day!
As always, you can book your trip here on our website or by calling us at 619-309-1680. We hope to see you soon!
