03.05.25 Whale Counts

An absolutely beautiful day today, a break from some of the weather that has been blowing through San Diego but we got to see 2 different types of Common Dolphin with the second being around 250 Short-Beaked that had so many calves with them! Showing how unpredictable these wild animals can be just as we turned to head back a whale emerged! We hung out with this Northbound Gray whale for a while as it snorkeled and made its way with haste to the north to its feeding grounds. Off the next two days for weather but will be back and ready for an exciting weekend of whale watching!
