03.23.25 Whale Counts

What a wonderful day we had out on the ocean with both of our trips seeing trios of Northbound Gray Whales, and both had calves in tow! We got great looks at these giants as they made their way back to their feeding grounds in Alaska. An added bonus was a brief look at a cow calf pair of Blue whales! The largest animal on the planet usually does not make it to San Diego until our summer months but were welcome visitors.
