03.26.25 Whale Counts

We made some runs today, but was totally worth it! For our first trip we encountered around 300 feeding Common Dolphin, followed by 3 Northbound Gray whales on the 9 miles bank. For the second we switched it up and got to see over 1000 Common dolphin aggressively feeding on anchovies and we smelled something familiar…the smell of a whale who had fed recently. We made our way north and got amazing looks at a young humpback whale! This whale had one of the most beautiful patterns on its tail fluke we have ever seen.
As always, you can book your trip here on our website or by calling us at 619-309-1680. We hope to see you soon!
