03.27.24 Whale Counts

What a beautiful day on the water! The sun was out and shining and we had some gorgeous glassy conditions. Started out our first trip with a very large pod of around 400 Common Dolphin feeding in an area, and got to see a Fin whale getting in on the action! On our second trip, we encountered a bigger pod of feeding Common Dolphin, another Fin whale, but also every bird in San Diego came to get a bite to eat as well. An amazing day overall!
