04.24.24 Whale Counts

A gorgeous sunny day out on the ocean teeming with life! We started off right off the bat seeing coastal Bottle nose dolphin hunting off the Ocean Beach pier, followed by a pod of around 50 Common Dolphin also doing some feeding. after that we noticed a very large spout to the northwest and made out way out. On our way we got the rare opportunity to see a young sea turtle! After our turtle sighting we were fortunate enough to see THREE Fin Whales! These giants were swimming right next to each other and we got some amazing looks!
