07.09.24 Whale Counts

A wonderful day on the water with a surprise visit from one of our favorite animals! Through both of our trips today we saw in total around 1000 Common Dolphin but was a little quiet on the whale front until we spotted a juvenile Humpback Whale! while not unheard of to see these types of whales in the summer, it is not as common so we were ecstatic when we saw this very young whale following some dolphin looking for food. We got to see so many tail flukes, and made for such a memorable experience.
