11.23.24 Whale Counts

Today was one of those days that everything came together in the most perfect way. For our first trip we were graced with the presence of easily the most rare animal to encounter off the coast of San Diego: ORCA!!! We caught up with the same pod of Eastern Tropical Pacific Killer Whales right after they had successfully hunted a Common Dolphin and got to see them play and rejoice by breaching and tail slapping while they got curious with the boat. An amazing experience.
For our sunset trip we got to see a large pod of our Common Dolphin and an immaculate sunset!
