6.17.2024 Whale Counts

A beautiful morning here in San Diego greeted us upon departure! A mere mile from the jetty we were welcomed by a small pod of common dolphin which would become a theme for the day. We strolled north for the morning scouring Pacific Beach to La Jolla for large mammals but were only able to find more fields of common dolphins for a amazing consolation prize!
