Lunge Feeding Humpback

After two days of windy weather we were finally able to make it back offshore. It seemed like Dolphin were just waiting for us, we encountered thousands of spread out pods across a seven mile area. Following this spread out pod of Dolphin lead us right to an extremely friendly Humpback Whale. We were able to observe this whale while it was lunge feeding, amongst a pod of Common Dolphin. The whale would expose the entirety of its head while gulping in copious amounts of water. All-in-all an awesome day on the water with beautiful seas, beautiful skies, and what we call the Locals Summer!
